Psalm 139

Politics don't often influence my artwork, but I guess the combination of 2008 being an election year and expecting another daughter contributed to this sketch. I don't care whether you're Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, antarchist etc... abortion is the murder of an innocent human being. Psalm 139 is one of the most powerful verses in the defense of the unborn.

I was really disappointed that this year's election ended with the majority of our voters voting for a candidate who fully supports this form of murder. I can only pray that our country will turn to God for guidance rather than doing what's convenient. Despite the darkness in our world I know that God is still in control and will make something good out of man's mistakes.

The image of the baby was based on one of DaVinci's drawings. Leonardo's drawing's are just incredible.
